Hywit Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

• Contact details you provide, such as your name, work email, company, and any optional context shared through waitlist forms or product feedback.
• Account data from Google OAuth (limited to your basic profile and email address) so we can verify your identity and allow sign-in.
• Product telemetry, usage logs, and device information captured through standard analytics for security, debugging, and product improvement.

2. How we use data

• Provide, secure, and improve the Hywit platform and waitlist.
• Respond to inquiries, onboard users, and deliver product updates.
• Comply with legal obligations, enforce our terms, and prevent misuse.

3. Google OAuth and agent data

When you connect via Google OAuth, Hywit requests only the minimum scopes needed for authentication. We do not sell Gmail or Google Workspace content. Any Google-hosted data accessed by Hywit agents is used solely to fulfill your requested workflows, remains under your control, and can be disconnected at any time from your Google account settings or through Hywit support.

4. Sharing and retention

We share personal data only with vetted service providers (such as hosting, analytics, or customer support tools) who must follow contractual privacy safeguards. We may also disclose data if required by law or to protect rights and safety. We retain data for as long as needed to provide the service or meet legal obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymized.

5. International transfers

Hywit operates from Bangalore, India and serves customers in India and the United States. We may store or process data in either region or in jurisdictions where our providers operate, subject to contractual safeguards and applicable data-transfer requirements.

6. Your rights

• India (Digital Personal Data Protection Act): request access, correction, updating, or deletion of personal data, and withdraw consent where applicable.
• United States (including California): request disclosure or deletion of collected data and opt out of certain sharing. Hywit does not sell personal data.

7. Security

We employ administrative, technical, and physical safeguards aimed at protecting personal data. No system is perfect, so please contact us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access or misuse.

8. Children

Hywit is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If we learn that a child's data has been collected, we will delete it promptly.

9. Updates

We may revise this policy to reflect product, legal, or operational changes. The "Effective" date will be updated, and continued use of Hywit signifies acceptance of the revised policy.
